What this can mean
A hidden leak is one possible cause, alongside restrictions, partially closed valves, simultaneous use or a supplier-side issue. Establish whether the change affects one fitting, the whole property or nearby homes before choosing an investigation.
Useful observations
Note which outlets are affected and whether the change is constant. Include any recent plumbing work and information from your water supplier.
Before taking anything apart
Do not assume a leak is confirmed from low pressure alone. Supplier issues and local fitting faults may need a different route.
How to choose the next step
You can start with the symptoms without diagnosing the pipe. Our cold water pipe leak detection page explains the kind of investigation that may be appropriate. Describe what has changed and share any previous findings so the agreed scope addresses the unresolved problem.
Planning a residential visit
For agreed residential work, the £1,345 package connects specialist investigation with the plumbing repair. It includes detection and tracing, necessary access or excavation, parts and materials, suitable post-repair testing and a Trace & Access report. A 12-month workmanship warranty applies to the repair.
The £100 booking deposit is deducted from the total, leaving £1,245. Applicable tax is included. Decorative and remedial reinstatement, including restoring floors, plaster, paving and other finishes, is excluded. Commercial work is quoted separately. Read the complete package scope before arranging a visit.
