What you are paying for
The package covers the agreed residential plumbing job from investigation through to repair. We first establish the address, symptoms and instruction, then confirm the scope and appointment. There is no separate hourly charge simply because that same agreed work takes longer.

What happens before the £100 deposit
We confirm whether the property and instruction are suitable, discuss practical access and agree an appointment. The deposit forms part of the £1,345 total. Read the applicable booking, cancellation and payment arrangements before making any payment. An enquiry does not reserve a visit.
A repair and a finished room are different stages
Necessary access may leave an opening that needs rebuilding or refinishing. Decorative and remedial reinstatement are excluded: for example, plaster, floor coverings, paving and paintwork. The property may also need a separate drying assessment. We make this boundary clear so those steps can be planned.
Changes to the instruction
The price relates to the agreed work. If the evidence raises a different instruction, the proposed scope and any separate quotation should be explained before it is authorised. The package is not a promise that every property or communal system can be handled under one domestic price.
What does the £1,345 package cover?
For the agreed residential job: investigation, detection and tracing, necessary access or excavation, plumbing repair, parts, materials, suitable testing and a Trace & Access report. A 12-month workmanship warranty applies to the repair. Decorating and remedial reinstatement are excluded.
Will my floors or walls need to be opened?
We use the available evidence to narrow the search before discussing access. A hidden pipe normally needs to be reached to complete its repair. The size and position of an opening depend on the pipe and the building.
Is the £100 deposit an additional charge?
No. Once the scope and appointment have been agreed, the £100 booking deposit is deducted from £1,345, leaving £1,245. An enquiry does not reserve an appointment or take a payment.
Can you help if I cannot see a leak?
Yes. A history of falling pressure, recurring damp or unexplained water use can give us a starting point. You do not need to identify the pipe or choose the detection equipment yourself.
