Understand what was completed
Keep the description of the repair and the checks appropriate to it. The Trace & Access report provides a record of the relevant findings and work. Ask which areas were investigated and whether any separate issues remain outside the agreed instruction.
Plan drying and reinstatement
A repaired pipe does not instantly remove moisture from plaster, timber or insulation. Separate assessment may be needed before rebuilding or decorating. Our package excludes decorative and remedial reinstatement, including floor finishes, plasterwork, paving and paint.
Keep track of changes
If symptoms continue or change, take safe dated photographs and refer to the original repair information. Residual damp and ongoing water loss are different possibilities. The 12-month workmanship warranty concerns the plumbing repair; unrelated faults need their own assessment.
