What this can mean
A new symptom after flooring, bathroom or building work may relate to disturbed pipework, a connection or an unrelated fault. Details of the work help establish which concealed routes deserve attention. Evidence should determine the conclusion.
Useful observations
Keep the date, work description, drawings and any photographs taken before surfaces were closed. Tell us about fixings, altered fittings or newly connected appliances.
Before taking anything apart
Do not make accusations or reopen work without understanding the evidence and permissions. If a previous contractor is involved, share their findings.
How to choose the next step
You can start with the symptoms without diagnosing the pipe. Our concealed pipe leak detection page explains the kind of investigation that may be appropriate. Describe what has changed and share any previous findings so the agreed scope addresses the unresolved problem.
Planning a residential visit
For agreed residential work, the £1,345 package connects specialist investigation with the plumbing repair. It includes detection and tracing, necessary access or excavation, parts and materials, suitable post-repair testing and a Trace & Access report. A 12-month workmanship warranty applies to the repair.
The £100 booking deposit is deducted from the total, leaving £1,245. Applicable tax is included. Decorative and remedial reinstatement, including restoring floors, plaster, paving and other finishes, is excluded. Commercial work is quoted separately. Read the complete package scope before arranging a visit.
